NOVEMBER 18 - BRIDGMAN
Story Contest for Teens Deadline
As part of their 50th anniversary celebration the 
Bridgman Public Library and the Friends of the
Bridgman Library sponsor a story contest for 
teens (grades 7 - 12).  Story must be at
least 500 words and not more than 2,000 words.
NOTE: The Bridgman Public Library must feature 
prominently in the story.  Deadline Nov. 18.

Festival of Trees 
Annual fundraiser party for Volunteer Southwest
Michigan and Court Appointed Special Advocates
for Children in the foster care system. Live and silent
auction include one-of-a-kind decorations and ornaments.  
Food, drinks, dancing and a complimentary photo booth.
Mark Ficks Dance Band provides entertainment.  All
proceeds benefit VSA & CASA.

Art Exhibit: Because Love
Artist Kellie Pickard shows recent paintings. 
This cycle of Abstract Representational paintings 
is a memorial to Kristee Pickard, the artist’s sister,
who died from cancer last year.
