"With Respect" - Sunday February 26 @11:00am and Thursday March 2 @ 10:00am -  John's guest this week is Emmet Cahill, an Irish tenor in the line of the likes of the immortal John McCormick. They talk of Emmet's start in County Cavan, Ireland, his training as a classical singer, and his serendipitous joining the modern Irish performance group, Celtic Thunder. They explore why he has now toured on his own and just released his first album, "Emmet Cahill's Ireland", filled with those songs he has selected because of the intense bond his audiences have with them.

"Robin's Roost" - Thursday February 23 @ 8:00PM and February 26 @ 2:00pm - Host Robin McBride presents a six week series of shows featuring the Count Basie Orchestra at its best.  In 1958, Basie was booked into the Crescendo Club on the Sunset Strip in LA for 10 solid nights.  Owned and operated by the famed jazz jock Gene Norman, the club had a studio quality recording set-up and the band's energy and enthusiasm are a joy to hear.

Harbor Country Radio Network -- "Reach the Beach" Fundraising Campaign

This year Radio Harbor Country was granted a new LPFM permit to transmit from Sawyer, MI. By October 2015 this 100 watt facility will increase coverage of most WRHC programming under the call sign WRHZ-LP 93.5 FM.

"Reach the Beach” has been a grassroots fundraising campaign initiated by Radio Harbor Country, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. All funds raised from the campaign are being used for the one-time costs of putting our LPFM construction permit into action and expanding Radio Harbor Country transmissions to Chikaming Township, New Troy, sections of Weesaw Township, Bridgman and the Southern sections of Lake Charter Township.

We successfully raised the $34,250 for equipment and installation!!! The Pokagon Fund provided the final $10,000 towards this goal.  We welcome donations for the additional operational costs for this new station. Individuals may donate via paypal or credit card.  Just click below. All contributions are tax deductable.
Local businesses are invited to become Underwriters.  Email us at for more information.
