This week's "little bit of everything" brings some of my favorites from the last year of my programing because it my ninth (9th) anniversary working with WRHC.   The show starts and ends with the blues.  We'll hit the country & folk and R&B and bring several jazz and rock tunes.   Luminaries include Albert Ammons, Willie Nelson, Johnny Otis, Pattie Labelle, James Taylor and Jeff Beck to name a few.

"The Wilbur Fibble Comedy Hour" - Monday May 15@ 8:00PM and Sunday May 21 @ 10:00PM - Join Host Wilbur Fibble: Myron Cohen in sets from his appearance at the Royal Box club in the Americana hotel in New York City.  He is clearly at the top of his spontaneity and story telling.  By the way, the program opens with Wilfred Nepp?  Sure does!

Harbor Country Radio Network -- "Reach the Beach" Fundraising Campaign

Posted Aug 20, 2015 by Dave Repetto • Tags:

This year Radio Harbor Country was granted a new LPFM permit to transmit from Sawyer, MI. By October 2015 this 100 watt facility will increase coverage of most WRHC programming under the call sign WRHZ-LP 93.5 FM.

"Reach the Beach” has been a grassroots fundraising campaign initiated by Radio Harbor Country, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. All funds raised from the campaign are being used for the one-time costs of putting our LPFM construction permit into action and expanding Radio Harbor Country transmissions to Chikaming Township, New Troy, sections of Weesaw Township, Bridgman and the Southern sections of Lake Charter Township.

We successfully raised the $34,250 for equipment and installation!!! The Pokagon Fund provided the final $10,000 towards this goal.  We welcome donations for the additional operational costs for this new station. Individuals may donate via paypal or credit card.  Just click below. All contributions are tax deductable.
Local businesses are invited to become Underwriters.  Email us at info@radioharborcountry.org for more information.
